Physical interpretations of the Lukasiewicz quantum logical connectives

Lukasiewicz quantum logic is semantically characterized by the class of all quantum MV algebras. The standard model of this logic is based on effects in a Hilbert space. We discuss the physical interpretation of different kinds of conjunction that arise in this framework.
