Social Imaginaries

This ground breaking series aims to investigate social imaginaries from theoretical, comparative, historical, and interdisciplinary perspectives. Its objective is to foster challenging research on the burgeoning but heterogeneous field of social imaginaries, on the one hand, and the related field of the creative imagination, on the other. The series publishes rigorous and innovative research that reflects the international, multi-regional and interdisciplinary scope across these fields. Despite the recent blossoming of the social imaginaries field, there is as yet no dedicated book series (or wider forum) devoted to these debates, and thus this series fills an important gap in academic discourse. In addition to offering more specifically a forum for research for the social imaginaries field, the book series brings together robust philosophical and political-social theoretical work with historical and comparative analyses from interdisciplinary perspectives.
