(1985) Reflection and action, Dordrecht, Springer.
The emphasis placed on coexistence in our previous exploration may be understood as already implying "moral action'. Moral action is often understood as taking place between human individuals, and thus by its nature is a facet of coexistence. Therefore it has, to say the least, an affinity with political activity. Hence the question arises about the particular character, if any, of moral activity, once an inter-human context is already present on the level of political activity. This issue may perhaps serve as a point of departure for our next step: an attempt to analyse the differentia specifica of the moral sphere from the position of the activity involved.
