Proletkul't, revolution, and tektology

Peter Dudley, Simona Pustylnik

pp. 39-42

If systems theory as a whole is to make a contribution to the understanding of the world it must be in the area of what Bogdanov (1996) called the "transfer of methods", what would today more readily be recognized as Bertalanffy's (1968) "isomorphisms". In addressing issues of sustainability, therefore, it is advantageous to look beyond the narrow confines of "ecological" models to lessons that have been learned in other fields.
