Systems thinking in U.K. film units

Linda Ludwin, David Wield

pp. 245-249

Building on analyses of important learning organization models, we hope to raise a series of issues and questions which need to be addressed as part of the process of developing and strengthening the learning organization concept. One of the authors (Ludwin) is currently undertaking a detailed study of feature film production units to determine whether or not certain commonly agreed learning organization features are present in film units, which operate in environments of radical change. This paper focuses on the relevance of systems thinking issues to film units.
