In the preceding chapter we underwent a first indulgence with the whole argument of this book. This comprised ascertaining the theoretical and ideological status of Liberating Systems Theory, identifying the intellectual grounding of this sociological paradigm and then surveying four strands of thinking. The remainder of this book consists of expanding upon the main issues arising from that presentation.
